You know what you're getting with a Tim Burton movie. If you play your cards right, there'll be a familiar, yet winning, combination of spookiness, Danny Elfman music, probably some Johnny Depp and definitely some Helena Bonham Carter.
You get all of this and more in the trailer for his latest Dark Shadows, which has just been released.
The film is an adaptation of a cult TV soap from the late 60s which follows an 18th century vampire, played by Depp, who wakes up in the 1970s to find a dysfunctional family living in his manor.
It looks like vintage Burton and will be his first of two films out this year, the other being the animated comedy Frankenweenie. Along with Depp and Bonham Carter, the film also stars Eva Green and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Dark Shadows is released in cinemas on May 11th.
