Could we really be getting a 'Deadpool' and 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' crossover?
Deadpool in space, anyone?
A Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy crossover could never happen, right? Chances are: nein. Main reason being that Deadpool is owned by Fox and The Guardians belong to Marvel, so a film with both would involve a hell of a lot of paperwork and hand-shaking - effort, basically.
However, it’s happened once already, with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, so who’s to say it can’t again?
Well, Ryan Reynolds and James Gunn are behind the plan (to some extent, a ‘Twitter’ extent). Gunn only just watched Deadpool 2 the other day, and took to Twitter to share his glowing reaction:
And Ryan Reynolds swiftly replied with a rather nifty suggestion:
To which James agreed:
So, yeah, it’s not exactly an official revelation, but you know how these things start. What begins as a harmless joke could end up becoming a reality - it’s certainly happened before, so you’d be forgiven for the current reaction of your saliva glands.
Saying that, Reynolds has a history of getting all up in the grill of those over at Marvel, so it’s most likely this’ll go no further than a little bit of that old ‘banter’ that you’ve heard so much about. Here’s some more of that to give you an idea what’s going on here:
What a laugh we all have on this here internet!
