Leather with florals. It’s not a duo we often come across in the world of fragrance, and logic would tell most people that combining these ingredients would be the equivalent of putting together chalk and cheese.
Originally inspired by the idea of smelling the insides of a leather bag, Cuir Cannage audaciously fuses rose, jasmine and iris top notes with contrasting manly, robust base notes of leather to create a unique, sensual woody experience.
It’s a combination of macho with feminine, delicate and rough, but somehow it works. Basically, it’s Dior’s olfactory way of proving to us that opposites can mix well together. The fragrance also challenges men to dare to pull off floral constructed scents.
Sometimes it’s more interesting to be unpredictable.
