Calling all artists, illustrators, designers and basically anyone who doesn’t feel utterly out of their depth when holding a pencil, paint brush or on photoshop. We want you (*points Uncle Sam finger*) to redesign the Oscar-winning Django Unchained. Be it your reimagining of the movie’s poster, your artistic take on a still from the film, or something altogether more inventive.
Send us your fan art to [email protected] by May 31st and the very best design will win a £1000 Sony Home Entertainment system. The winning design will also be printed onto a run of limited edition t-shirts by cult t-shirt company Last Exit to Nowhere, who were described by Empire Magazine as ''The most consistently inventive T-shirt shop out there." They are a small collective of like-minded film enthusiasts, designers, illustrators, screenprinters and photographers, who collaborate to create unique T-shirts that pay homage to the most memorable places, companies and characters in cinema history. The t-shirts will not be put on sale.
The ShortList team will judge the winner. You can find some of the entries below as well as some fan art from Jack Woodhams (19-year-old designer and founder of PosterSpy).
Django Unchained is out on Blu-ray & DVD 20th May
