Enter our expanded 2014 Tri Challenge and win incredible prizes while getting fit
There have been many great days in British sporting history, but we’re quite fond of 25 August 2013: the date of the inaugural ShortList Tri Challenge. It was so popular that all places filled up within 24 hours of the event’s announcement.
That’s why we are launching ShortList Tri Challenge 2014 in association with Human Race, the UK’s largest and most diverse mass participation events company, aiming to grow the number of sports participants by encouraging thousands of first-timers to take part every year. Famous for its triathlon events, Human Race has 23 years of experience organising them, so you know you’ll be in capable hands. As such, we will be opening up entries to even more readers this year. The race takes place Sunday 7 September 2014 at Dorney Lake, a world-class centre usually used for rowing and flat-water canoeing, near Windsor. Entrants will be taking part in a sprint triathlon, which consists of 750m swim, 21.2km bike ride and 5km run.
The fastest finisher will win a holiday with Natural Retreats and a £245 wetsuit from Blueseventy. But it’s not just about finishing first – it’s about getting your body and mind healthy. And this is why we’ve made Calm, the Campaign Against Living Miserably, our chosen charity for the event. We urge all participants to recruit sponsors to help Calm fight male suicide.
