Now, don't act so surprised. With the small screen Rosemary's Baby remake having just landed in the states and with Scream and Friday the 13th adaptations on the way, other classic horror movies are also being examined for their potential on TV.
Which brings us to the news that Damien, the world's most evil child of The Omen infamy, is making his way to Lifetime, a rather unlikely channel in the US.
The drama, called Damien, will act as a sequel to the 1976 original, apparently ignoring the inferior sequels. It will follow Damien as an adult as he faces up to his destiny as the Antichrist.
It's being written by The Walking Dead's showrunner Glen Mazzara, who also worked on The Shield. He's also involved in the big screen prequel to The Shining, titled Overlook Hotel.
We're assuming it will screen next June 6th. At 6pm.
