Using the word reliable to describe the Coens sounds like a bit of a back-handed compliment yet their output is more consistently excellent than the majority of directors working today.

After their Oscar-nominated western True Grit in 2010, they've gone for another dramatic change in direction with their latest which delves into the world of folk music in 60s New York.

Inside Llewyn Davis follows a week in the life of, well you can probably guess his name, played by rising star Oscar Isaac and we've got our hands on a world exclusive clip.

It features Isaac alongside co-star Carey Mulligan and a ginger cat who is arguably this year's best feline performer. It's a close call between him and, okay yeah we can't think of any others. Good cat though.

The film also stars Justin Timberlake and John Goodman.
