After last year's traditional take on Romeo & Juliet failed to impress, the next incarnation promises to go down an entirely new route.
But along with the new route, it seems that a new cast is also attached every other week. Actresses including Lily Collins (Mirror, Mirror), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Alison Williams (Girls) have all been mooted for a role but now it looks Felicity Jones is taking on the lead.
The film offers up a comedic and contemporary interpretation of Shakespeare's classic tragedy, from the viewpoint of Rosaline, Juliet's cousin, who is also in love with Romeo, called Rob in the film. It's based on the book When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle.
Dave Franco has been rumoured to play the male lead while the script comes from Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber ((500) Days of Summer).
Jones is currently "in negotations" to take on the role. She's best known for her roles in Like Crazy and Cemetery Junction and can next be seen in Girls and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
