First Raging Bull II images

Sadly, that wasn't a fever dream you were having. Raging Bull II is actually happening.

We originally reported on the announcement back in April and since then, like most of the world, we've conveniently buried this knowledge in a far off place, hoping it might never resurface.

But, with these newly released images, we can confirm that it's all still happening. It's even being shot as we speak and everything.

The follow-up will actually go back and forward from where we last left Jake LaMotta from his youth to ages 34 and 73. In other words, you can expect a lot of gaps to be filled in. Writer/director Martin Guigui (the guy made National Lampoon's Cattle Call) and star William Forsythe have been consulting with the real LaMotta who will serve as a consultant on the film.

The most worrying quote comes from LaMotta himself: "I'd never have believed it in a million years. But they think it's interesting enough to do it. They must know something."
