The Spooks are back.
No, not the ghost kind - the MI5 kind.
The first teasing glimpse for the big-screen outing of clandestine TV series has arrived, demonstrating just how far the show (and it's budget) has come since it arrived on British screens 13 years ago.
The film's plot follows the events of botched hand-over of charismatic terrorist Adam Qasim (Elyes Gabel) by MI5. Disgraced by the slip-up, Harry Pearce (Peter Firth), Head of Counter-terrorism is forced to resign, only to disappear himself one night off a bridge into the Thames. In an effort to find out just what's going on, MI5 calls on former agent Will Holloway (Kit Harington of Game of Thrones) to uncover the truth they feared – that Harry’s still alive.
Explosions, car chases and stealthy frowning awaits.
Spooks: The Greater Good arrives in cinemas on 8 May
