The good old British seaside, home of those two classic summer food staples - fish and chips, and ice cream.
But now they have been brought together in perfect harmony, thanks to Shane Teare, the owner of Teare Woods luxury ice cream parlour in Whitby, Yorkshire. He has invented the fish and chip flavoured ice cream, which features one scoop of minty mushy peas, with another scoop that is rolled in fish and batter. It's then served in a cone with, naturally, a single chip acting as the 'flake' of the dish.
