3D printed food is coming to England and this is what it looks like

The world's first 3D printed food restaurant is about to pop up in London after a successful debut in Venlo, Netherlands. That is a true sentence from 2016, which is today, which is now, which is the future. You are living in the future and it tastes... kinda weird actually.

Food Ink. uses machines designed by Dutch company byFlow to create dishes out of paste. Any food that can be paste-ified is fair game, which mostly includes "hummus, chocolate mousse, smashed peas, goat cheese, and pizza dough" according to the company's website. 

The restaurant opens in London from 25-27 July, so we guess someone sped up the whole "distant future" thing. Not only will the food be 3D printed, but all the chairs and tables are too. 

But what exactly do these paste structures look like? Here's just a sample of what you can expect.
