This 'Game of Thrones' star just told us fans exactly what we want to hear about Season 8
You're going to be very happy with this
Game of Thrones fans – we battle-hardened folk who’ve been blistered and bruised as our favourite characters were beheaded and burnt at the stake – have been through a lot.
And after sticking with the show for seven years and collectively making it one of the most popular TV programmes of all time, I feel we’re entitled to request that all those lingering storylines get neatly wrapped up in a dragon-shaped bow.
And it looks like we might actually get our wish, according to British actress Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Daenerys Targaryen’s right-hand woman Missandei.
“I think what we can expect from the final season of GoT is just a real push,” the 29-year-old actress told the Hindustan Times.
“Like in the last couple of seasons, we have seen the pace of the show increase with the stakes getting higher and higher.
“There are so many storylines that have to come to conclusion. We have to play them out, so the pace of the show is continuing on that sense.
“There are so many characters and stories that haven’t found their conclusion. So, this season is going to be incredibly satisfying for people.”
GET IN! This is exactly what we want to hear. No Lost-style mysteries please and we definitely don’t want a Sopranos-esque cut-to-black cliffhanger.
Fingers and toes crossed that every single character gets a full-blown conclusion when the final season airs in the first half of 2019 - and that we can say a proper goodbye to our beloved Game of Thrones.
