Praise be: every single series of 'Bake Off' is coming to Netflix this weekend
AND I AM GOING TO WATCH THE ENTIRE THING FROM START TO FINISH IN MY PANTS
This is not a drill: The Great British Bake Off, i.e. the greatest and most wholesome show to bless this dreary, godforsaken planet, is coming to Netflix this weekend! In full!
It’s been two years since we last caught a sight of Mary Berry’s saucy winks, THAT custard incident and, er, THAT Baked Alaska incident.
But now all the soggy bottoms, Mel and Sue, dirty jokes and Berry/Hollywood goodness you can get your hands on will be available to stream on the platform from this Saturday (March 31).
The celeb version of the show, in aid of Stand up to Cancer, is currently ongoing on Channel 4, with stars including Lee Mack, Griff Rhys Jones, Melanie Sykes and Joe Lycett all having their skills put to the test in the famous GBBO tent.
And people are REALLY BLOODY EXCITED ABOUT IT, AS THEY BLOODY WELL SHOULD BE.
The Channel 4 version of the show won’t be on Netflix, but is still available on demand from Channel 4 here – which technically means that, if you were so inclined, you could spend the entirety of your bank holiday weekend watching every single episode of the show, from Season One to Season Eight, back-to-back.
See you Tuesday, lads – we’re off to spend the entirety of our bank holiday weekend watching every single episode of the show back-to-back. Obviously.
