We've finally got the first teaser trailer from the Han Solo 'Star Wars' movie
The best pilot in the galaxy is ready to roll
Can you believe that the next new Star Wars movie is out in May? That’s really soon isn’t it.
And for those who weren’t convinced by Episode VIII of the main saga, The Last Jedi, then the Han Solo spin-off movie (catchily titled Solo: A Star Wars Story) should be more than enough to stop you crying into your Millennium Falcon-themed duvet.
Solo has been an unusually secretive affair thus far, with nothing so much as a single still released from it.
Now, however, we finally have something to cling on to, with a short teaser clip aired during the Super Bowl: and here it is.
Good isn’t it? And if you’re excited by that, we’re apparently getting the full trailer imminently (ie. literally today, Monday 5 February).
Solo: A Star Wars Story has been directed by Ron Howard, starring Alden Ehrenreich as Han and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian alongside Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Woody Harrelson, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany.
As yet we’ve got very little idea on a plot above and beyond the Wiki description of the film being: “A space Western… centered on a young Han Solo and his adventures with his Wookiee partner Chewbacca, including their encounter with Lando Calrissian.”
It’s due to hit cinemas on 25 May - see you at the front.
