The world is going to end. Sorry to be bleak, but it's just a fact. The interesting bit is trying to work out how it will end. And when.
That's the aim of the following chart: a terrifying timeline that looks to map out the order in which apocalyptic threats might wipe out the Earth's population.
Designed by the IIB Studio, the piece calls on the reports of Bostrom, Nasa and other scientific bodies in the know to create an 'Apocalometer', determining how likely each threat is to ending the human race. Under population? Not a big concern, but it could happen in this millennium. Over population? A much bigger concern. Death of the Sun? Game over - but that's not happening for quite some time.
At least it's going to help you get your priorities sorted as to what you should be worried about. Which is useful, right?
