WhatsApp just added some dull, pointless interesting new features to its messaging service.
The latest update to the Facebook-owned app (version 2.12.17 for iOS and 2.12.535 for Android) now allows users to embolden, italicise and strikethrough their messages.
It's like the world of typeface is fighting back against Emojis, adding more expression to simple lettering. Take that, cry laugh face. Here's how to write in each new style.
