Get the tissues out: the first trailer for 'I Am Paul Walker' has been released
A documentary about Paul Walker's life is here to destroy your day
Paul Walker, by all accounts, was an amazing guy - the type of person that everyone liked. Which is why it was all the more tragic when the star of the Fast and Furious movies passed away in car crash back in 2013 at the age of 40. A man with a whole career ahead of him, cut short in his prime - a real tragedy.
Which is why you would be absolutely forgiven for not watching this documentary, which will 100% guarantee floods of tears. Anyone who saw Furious 7’s devastating end scene will know what to expect, and that’s a full hour curled up on the sofa in the foetal position, post-viewing.
Here’s the trailer:
The film is directed by Adrian Buitenhuis, who made the similarly tragic doc I Am Heath Ledger, and will feature interviews with family and friends, whilst focusing on his movie career as well as his extensive charity and environmental work.
I Am Paul Walker premieres on the Paramount Network on August 11 in the US, so expect a UK release soon after. Probably Netflix?
