If film characters used Twitter

The past is a funny old thing; full of dusty relics and how things used to be. Thankfully, most of us can try and forget the many embarrassing ways in which we used to live.

But not if you reside in the movies, baby. It’s there for all to see, captured, literally, in celluloid. And, from where we’re sat right now – a fairly routine Tuesday in August since you ask - what can be more cringe-worthy than a complete lack of Twitter? Nothing, that’s what.

Just how did the likes of Han Solo, Indiana Jones and other non-Harrison Ford related characters communicate? What a palaver.

Thankfully, some bright spark by the name of Timo Meyer has begun to imagine how Travis Bickle, Lando Calrissian, David Lightman and Ben Kinobi would have used what we like to think of as an extra communicative limb.

The results are funny and illuminating. Just like our tweets in fact.
