In the world of the Hollywood blockbuster, some occurrences are a given. Crashing cars will always explode (even if they only hit a puddle), people in haunted houses always investigate strange noises and the most expensive actor will survive for at least the first 60 minutes.
Inspired by these common clichés, French illustrator Allan Barte has created a marvellous Tumblr dedicated to these Hollywood Laws (like Sod's Law, but more entertaining).
We've selected a few of our favourites - which are coincidently the only ones we were confident enough to translate - but be sure to head over to Petit illustre des clichés Hollywoodiens for more of Barte's work.
