Relax, this isn’t a dream (wrapped inside another dream, inside another dream, and so on) - the premise of Christopher Nolan’s Inception has indeed been turned into a board game, meaning, KickStarter-willing, it could soon grace living rooms worldwide.
Inceptor's 2-5 player action revolves around the mind of a man named Mark, who players must attempt to wake up by planting ideas in his dreams in the hope he will carry out a chosen task and eventually believe it was his own decision.
Ingeniously, the more difficult the idea to plant in Mark’s mind, the more cards you need to acquire, ensuring there's an extra edge to proceedings as players race to win the game. And like the characters of Inception, players will get their very own ‘totem’ playing pieces.
If they're anything like the spinning pieces from the film, mind, we imagine games could drag on for a while.
