Ah, school, best days of your life and all that. Hmmm, we’re not so sure - visions of double physics still being fresh in our mind, rubs hand over mouth, years on. And we’re fairly convinced these plucky kids in Indonesia won’t share such an aphorism either.

Just look what they have to navigate just to get to school. Certainly not a zebra crossing manned by a lovable lollipop man or lady. Rather a dilapidated bridge which enables them to cross the Ciberang River.

The suspension bridge was damaged last week by flooding, and now the crossing is precarious to say the least. The nearest alternative crossing is 30 minutes away, but, let’s face it, that would mean getting up 30 minutes earlier in the morning, and which adorable kiddywink is going to do that?

It does all remind us a bit of this though:
