iPhone 11 Pro launch: Price, specs and release date revealed
Everything you need to know about the iPhone 11 Pro
After months and months of speculation surrounding the latest iPhones, they are finally here. Here is everything you need to know about Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro and when it’ll be available for you.
As with the other two iPhones launched today, the big upgrade on the iPhone 11 Pro is the camera. As with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the 11 Pro has a three-lens camera on the back.
It looks pretty hefty too, taking up a good portion of the top of the phone. Admittedly, the cameras sheer size does not make the iPhone look as sleek as some of its predecessors but it’s far from ugly.
In terms of the lens themselves, there is a new wide camera (12MP), a new telephoto camera and a new ultra wide camera with an impressive 120 degree field of view.
What about the front camera? That is also getting a boost from 7MP to 12MP. A welcome addition for all of us whose selfies need all the help they can get.
Size-wise, the iPhone 11 Pro will have 5.8-inch display, the smallest of the three new phones but it does support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos just like the bigger iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Across the range, the new iPhone 11s have the new A13 Bionic chips, which now ensures the iPhone 11 range now has the fastest CPU and GPU performance of any smartphone. According to Apple, the CPU is capable of one trillion operations per second.
The battery life has also had an upgrade, with users now getting four more hours of battery life than the iPhone XS. The phone also comes with a 18W adapter designed to give you super fast charging for an additional boost.
Colour-wise, you can get the iPhone 11 Pro in Midnight Green, Space Grey, Silver and Gold.
If the iPhone 11 Pro has taken your fancy, it will be available to pre-order from Friday 13 September for $999.
