iPhone 11 Pro Max launch: price, specs and release date revealed
Everything you need to know about the iPhone 11 Pro Max
10 September 2019
After months and months of speculation, leaks and rumours, the new iPhone 11s are finally here. Here is everything you need to know about the biggest new release the iPhone Pro Max including when it’ll be available for you to buy.
Launched at an Apple event on Tuesday, these three phones will be the first to have Apple’s A13 Bionic chip to power them.
Size-wise, the iPhone 11 Pro Max will be bigger than its brothers with a 6.5inch screen display, with 458 pixels per inch. It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, too.
It will also have the same three-lens camera as the iPhone 11 Pro, giving users the ability to use the telephoto lens, the wide lens and the ultra wide lens — all of which will shoot in 4K.
Whilst the camera does feel a little bulky on the back of the phone, it also feels somewhat necessary if Apple are going to keep up with the photography capabilities being provided by Huawei, Google and Samsung.
The battery has also been improved giving users five more hours of battery than the iPhone XS, and a 18W adapter to speed up charging.
Design-wise, the iPhone 11 Pro Max will be stainless steel with a ‘tough’ glass back. It will be available to buy in four colour options: Midnight Green, Space Grey, Silver and Gold.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max is the most expensive of the bunch costing $1099. Pre-orders start on Friday 13 September, with shipping beginning the week after.
