Well here's an announcement that's bound to ruffle a few feathers.
Deadline has word that Jack Huston is set to star as Eric Draven in Corin Hardy's remake of 1994 cult revenge tragedy, The Crow.
The casting of Huston, best known for his role as Richard Harrow in HBO's Broadwalk Empire, ends months of speculation as to who would fill the shoes of Brandon Lee in the drawn-out project, a role that has been linked with the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Luke Evans.
Huston took to Twitter to confirm the Deadline reports, stating that he was honoured to take the role in the new adaptation of James O'Barr's graphic novel of the same name:
Huston is currently the only name 'confirmed' for the remake of the film which saw Brandon Lee tragically killed in a now infamous on-set accident, with English actress Jessica Brown Findlay (The Riot Club) rumoured to play Draven's fiancé Shelly Webster. Production is set to begin at the end of the year.
