He has a - perhaps unfair - reputation as a boring man - not helped by the legendary Twitter account @boringmilner - but it seems that the Manchester City and England midfielder is more than capable of taking a joke.
He's played up to his image in this hilarious video created by Manchester City for their online advent calendar, with City kit man Les Chapman popping round to his 'home' to unwrap a few Christmas presents. Needless to say, his present choices are not exactly what you'd call exciting.
His diligent midfield work has previously been described as, "embarking on a series of unrelenting sprints from box to box, like a man stubbornly doing lengths of a swimming pool while a water polo match goes on around him", but he's a manager's dream - and it now seems he's a good guy too.
