Jay Z & Kanye's rider requests have been leaked and they're absolutely insane

And you thought Mariah Carey was 'difficult'.

The backstage rider is the stuff of legend for many high profile acts, but celebrity gossip site TMZ has managed to obtain the backstage requests of two of the biggest names in the game.

Jay Z insists that the temperature is his room is a precise 71 degrees (we presume Fahrenheit, unless he's a fan of burning alive), while three $80 Mayan tuberose-scented candles must infuse the air with fragrance. Vacuuming is banned within earshot (I think we'd all request this if we could) and staff should not ask for concert tickets to "avoid embarrassment". Drinkswise, he stays 'on brand', requesting his own Ace of Spades champagne.

Meanwhile, Kanye insists that all vases in his personal space must only be cylindrical. Rectangular? Forget it. Dodecahedral? Get outta town. He also requests mint dental floss and Genelec 1031a speakers - a famous studio speaker that was discontinued in 2005. His towels must be black. On the booze front, he requires thirteen bottles of drinks which cost around $3,200, including three bottles of Paradis Hennessy.

On the occasions when daughter Blue Ivy accompanies Jay Z, all suites must be childproofed from floor to ceiling - a fair enough request. She drinks whole milk, but it must be organic.

We'll be honest: we were expecting a little more. No pet leopards? Caviar with gold flakes on? Midgets with trays of cocaine on their heads?

Come on Kanye, we thought you were supposed to be the "greatest living rock star on the planet"? The Led Zep boys could eat you for breakfast.
