Sky Sports’ Jeff Stelling on the most pivotal Premier League clashes ahead

Chelsea vs Arsenal (22 March)

“Mourinho said Chelsea are a ‘little horse’ this season, but come on: they’re a thoroughbred. I think they’ll win the league. To continue the horse analogy with Eden Hazard, last season he was like Shergar: he disappeared. This season he’s been terrific. They don’t lose at home in the Premier League under Mourinho. For Arsenal, this comes in the middle of a run where they’ve got Bayern Munich, Spurs and City. I don’t think they can cope with that.”

Arsenal vs Man City (29 March)

“We all know Wenger should have bought Julian Draxler, even if he had to pay over the odds. But they’re still a force to be reckoned with, and City have been inconsistent away from home. Also, we’ve seen recently with two or three injuries that even City’s squad doesn’t have the depth we imagined.”

Everton vs Man United (19 April)

“If United lose this, their fans really might think, ‘Did Everton get the better end of the deal [with Moyes leaving]?’ because Roberto Martinez has taken to things like a Spanish duck to water. I think United will stand by Moyes into next season, though. Sir Alex still has a lot of sway there, and he’ll remember that he had plenty of time when he started out.”

Liverpool vs Chelsea (26 April)

“If the title’s going to be decided anywhere, it’ll be at Anfield. City and Chelsea still have to play there. Liverpool at home have battered the big boys and : Arsenal, Everton, Man United. And Liverpool – people talk about the SAS, Suarez and Sturridge, but now it’s the SASAS – Sterling has been fantastic, as well. Sturridge, formerly of Chelsea, will be looking to prove something here, too.”
