Stop complaining about Batfleck and accept that it's happening.
After Christian Bale spoke positively about the decision to make Ben Affleck the new Batman, Jon Hamm, Affleck's co-star in The Town, has exclusively told us that he's also behind the idea.
"He’s going to make a great Batman," he shared. "He’s been great in everything he’s done."
In case it's not already clear, Hamm really really liked Affleck. No, really.
"I’m a tremendous fan of Ben" he gushed. "I can only express my tremendous gratitude for what he’s done for my career. He’s a big star and he deserves all that stuff...I used to play on a baseball team with Casey [Affleck]. I’m a fan of the whole Affleck clan. Their mum did a wonderful job. I can only hope he’ll ask me back at some point."
Apparently, it's not just a bromance, it's something more paternal...
"It’s odd because he’s younger than me and that’s the thing that drives me crazy," he explained. "I’m like, “You’re younger than me, how does that work?” He seems like my dad."
Hamm for Robin perhaps?
