I think the general consensus was: Jurassic World was quite good, wasn’t it? Not the best of the franchise, not the worst, I’d say. So clearly, there’s still ripe excitement for the sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - I mean, it’s a film about dinosaurs, so it’s extremely hard to not get excited. Put a dinosaur in a film, and I’ll watch it. Yes, even Carnosaur.
But word has been a tad quiet of late - we’ve had the poster, but where are the goddamn trailers? The teasers? I want a moving dinosaur to whet my prehistoric appetite - still images just will not cut the Jurassic mustard, I’m afraid.
So imagine my delight when director Colin Trevorrow shared the first clip of the film. Now, it’s not a trailer, nor is it even a teaser, but it’s still a dinosaur, and it’s still Chris Pratt. Call it a teaser to a teaser (the full trailer is due in the next three weeks, supposedly).
Anyway, check it out below:
Yep, it’s not much, but you have to get what you’re given when it comes to dinosaurs, I have always found this (it’s why I watched Carnosaur). I’m just grateful to have any sort of dinosaur action in my life, really.
But for the full jablooie, I’ll have to wait until June 8th, when the film is released. Side note: that’s a full two weeks before the US get it, which is fun, isn’t it? It makes me feel all special and gooey inside.
