Keanu Reeves is joining the cast of 'Toy Story 4', hopefully as John Wick

When you hear that Keanu Reeves is going to be in a film, you think of the following things:

1. This will be good because he will be shooting a gun all over the place

2. This will be good because he will be doing kung fu all over the place

3. This will be good because he will be screaming like an unhinged maniac all over the place, like he did in Knock Knock, an insane performance that it’s hard to believe exists

4. This will be good because he will be doing a really bad accent all over the place, like in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, in which he speaks every accent in the whole world at the same time

So the news that he’s gonna be in Toy Story 4 is great, for any or all of the above reasons. Tim Allen appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he hinted at what Keanu will be playing:

“They really will surprise you with the toys they came up with. Characters came back, new guys in it that are great. Keanu Reeves has got a great part.

“Actually, a little inside story [about Reeves]: Even he said — gentle, wonderful guy that he is — ‘This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.’ And his character does have an edge to that. And the guy said, ‘So we calmed him down a little bit,’ and they reminded me his toy is only that big.”

This’ll be the first time Reevey Boy has had a part in a major animated movie, so it’s all very new and exciting for him, and therefore us, because if Keanu Reeves gets excited about something, you should also be excited about it too. He’s the best.
