The near indestructible rocker has just announced that he’ll be writing Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar, which explores the bond between kids and their grandparents, a subject Richards claims is close to his heart having become a grandfather for the fifth time.
Illustrated by his daughter Theodora, the story will be published as both a hardcover book with an accompanying CD and an ebook from 9 September by Little Brown Books for Young Readers.
