Le Coq Sportif's Stunning Made In France Collection
Le Coq Sportif's Stunning Made In France Collection
As far as we can tell, the last time anyone played tennis in a pair of "traditional" tennis shoes was... well, it was some time ago. And when they look as good as le coq sportif's new Arthur Ashe model, you can understand why.
To mark the return of one of it's most iconic shoe styles, the French sports brand has released a duo of special 'Made in France' editions.
While both trainers are exceptionally slick, the blue and white leather weave is the stand out model the release: created in sponsored_longform with the Parisian fashion store colette for release on 12 January, the blue and white Arthur Ashe (seen below) is limited to a series of 55 pairs.
If you can't make your way to Paris to pick up the blue and white editions, fear not: the Author Ash full white will be headed to Foot Patrol, Hanon and SnS on 12 January, sporting an immaculate white leather colourway and block of perforations. A French flag detail on the shoe's tongue adds the only splash of colour.
Each of the trainers will ship in a numbered wooden case, stamped with the le coq sportif’s logo. If only our backhand looked this good.
