Liam Gallagher just shot down rumours of a solo album with the best tweet ever

Can you imagine what Christmasses were like in the Gallagher household all those years ago. The arguing, the fighting over toys, the tantrums. The only Christmas spirit that must have gone round was Peggy's sherry.
And 2016 has begun with no apparent thawing of the ice between former Oasis bandmates Liam and Noel Gallagher, with Liam finally responding to his elder brother's suggestion that he should make a solo album. Noel had previously told the NME that he was "very fucking sad about Beady Eye, because I know they really wanted to make it work”.
He added: "I’m amazed Liam has chucked it in, but he won’t stay out of the limelight for long. I think Liam should make a solo record – put his balls on the line, put his name up in lights and go for it."
However, the suggestion was met in no uncertain terms by Liam, who tweeted the following yesterday:
