Muhammad Ali took just 132 words to perfectly shut down Donald Trump
In fifty years, 2016 will likely be known as the year that a fool called Trump became a subject of annoyance for all, making the cyber world hit peak internet and, somewhat bafflingly, almost became president of the United States.
It will also be the year that we lost a true hero and one of the most impossibly beautiful and brilliant men this world has ever seen.
Nobody will really understand it, it will have just happened but we will still marvel at the words of incredible people like three-time world heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali. A true class act that kept a dazzle in his eyes and a weight of wisdom and importance in his words right until the end.
Here's what Ali had to say to Trump after the 'politician' suggested banning all Muslims from entering the US late last year:
"I am a Muslim and there is nothing Islamic about killing innocent people in Paris, San Bernardino, or anywhere else in the world. True Muslims know that the ruthless violence of so called Islamic jihadists goes against the very tenets of our religion.
We as Muslims have to stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda. They have alienated many from learning about Islam. True Muslims know or should know that it goes against our religion to try and force Islam on anybody.
Speaking as someone who has never been accused of political correctness, I believe that our political leaders should use their position to bring understanding about the religion of Islam and clarify that these misguided murderers have perverted people's views on what Islam really is."
Frank and perfectly put without even mentioning the man’s name. There’s a reason why Ali will always be The Greatest.
