New Balance announce anniversary trainer collection
Celebrating their 100th anniversary with mutant trainers
New Balance is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a very special collection of trainers crafted from surplus fabric.
Over the years the brand has collected fabric that a lot of brands would've thrown away, but they've managed to stockpile it to make a series of mutant trainers (we mean that as a compliment).
Coming in a wide variety of colourways and premium textures, the anniversary collection will consist of reworked versions of the 1500, 670, 575, 576 and 577 – as well as the new 991.5.
If you want to cop yourself a pair of these trainers you have to be quick, as they're in a limited run with only 1,906 (the year the brand started) pairs of each style being made at their factory in Flimby, Cumbria.
The New Balance anniversary collection launches 3 September
