After a ten year absence, Thief is back to rob you of all your spare time.
Thief was a hugely popular game in the late '90s/early '00s, in part thanks to creative gameplay that saw you sneaking about, pilfering valuables and shooting an array of specially-abled arrows that would make Hawkeye blanch. It's popularity was equally down to its anti-hero, Garrett, a master criminal with a mechanical eye and a very sardonic sense of humour.
Now, finally, the series is returning with a fourth installment, simply titled Thief, set for release at the end of February. To whet your appetite until then, a six-minute trailer has just been released online. In Thief, Garrett has been away from his home for many years and returned to find The City under the control of a dictator known as The Baron. A plague has ravaged the population but the rich keep getting richer, which gives Garrett plenty of things to steal...
