Jurassic Park, Partridge is bark.
Sorry, back. Back. (Back of the net.)
The second series of his North Norfolk Digital-featuring series Mid Morning Matters has been in the works for a while, but it now, finally, has an air date, with writer Neil Gibbons revealing on Twitter that it will begin on 8 February next year. It's been written by Steve Coogan along with Gibbons and his twin brother Rob.
The much-anticipated new series is the first since 2012, and Partridge has previously commented "I am both thrilled, humbled, gladdened and excited to be bringing Mid Morning Matters back to Sky Atlantic. I expect those who doubted its success feel suitably chastened to never again doubt the wisdom of my career choices and to say nothing in response unless their comments are wholly supportive and positive. I hope I've made myself clear... thank you, let's leave it there."
Tim Key, aka Sidekick Simon, will return to our screens a little sooner than Partridge - he stars as Mark's new flatmate in the ninth and final series of Peep Show, which starts this Wednesday (11 November).
Meanwhile, there are still plans for a followup to the legendary DJ's first big screen outing Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, which was released in 2013, with its producer Henry Normal saying that moves are afoot for a sequel.
Sadly, there are still no plans for a full series of Youth Hostelling With Chris Eubank, though we'll always have that trailer.
