Polo Ralph Lauren reissue classic '90s gear as part of Stadium collection
The nineties will never die
Polo Ralph Lauren - an old-school hip-hop favourite, still considered the streetwear-ready side of the iconic embroidered-dude-on-a-pony-brand - is back in a big way with their awesome new collection of 90s-inspired pieces.
Commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Polo Stadium Collection, Ralph Lauren has brought the range back as a very special limited edition. Drawing inspo from athletic uniforms of the 1920s and ‘30s, the original collection was a released to celebrate the 1992 Olympics, with the red, white, and blue of the good ol’ US of A.
The new twelve-piece collections features reissues and re-imagined styles that are eminently wearable today - big block colours, bold patterns, and classic cuts in lightweight, modern-tech materials - in polo shirts, fitted caps, and - most excitingly - some absolutely standout jackets showcased by a lookbook by acclaimed photographers Bruce Weber and Tom Gould.
Polo, you have our attention.
The Limited Edition Polo Stadium Collection will be available from flagship Polo Ralph Lauren stores (as well as Selfridge’s Stadium pop-up on Edwards Mews by Regents Park until Saturday 23rd) and some pieces online at ralphlauren.com at the end of September.
