This simple app could totally revolutionise your drunken 'dare' games
An app that wants to send random contacts random photos? Er...
Rando is absolutely everything you want in an app when you’re quite a bit drunk, at about 2am. It’s absolutely not what you want at any other point in your life, ever.
Essentially, Rando is a messaging app available right now, for your iPhone. What it promises to do though, is only for people with absolutely massive cojones.
Fire it up and it’ll select a random photo (or a GIF or, erm, a quote) from your phone and then send it to everyone on your contacts list. Or post it publicly on Facebook and Twitter.
We can’t actually decide which is worse, but potentially sending everyone on your phone a screengrab of a heated conversation, a photo of that time you passed out on a toilet or that photo of your junk to everyone you know (think Mum, Dad, local curry house) wins out here.
The main fault being that if you don’t pay enough attention, you might send this off without even knowing what you’re sending. There is an option to see the photo before you send it, but that’s like washing down a ghost chili pepper with a teaspoon of milk.
If Truth or Dare has gotten incredibly boring recently, you might want to give this a try. Other than that, download this app at your peril.
