Review your year in music with Spotify's personalised summary
We really ought to see someone about our Chas & Dave addiction.
Last week, Spotify lifted the lid on its mysterious musical workings, revealing in its annual review that Drake was the most streamed artist of 2015 - generating a staggering 1.8 million streams from 46 million listeners. Top of the UK? That loveable ginger muppet, Ed Sheeran. Again.
But while the rest of the world grooved about in their cable knits to Hotline Bling, what were you pumping into your ears? What was your "album of the year"? How many guilty pleasures snuck into your top ten?
Ponder no more, as Spotify's "Year in Music" page now comes with a personalised browser showing you:
- Your first played song
- Your top songs, artists and genres
- Your top artists by season
- Total minutes of music listened to
- Total number of songs and artists played
To hear your own personal summary, head here and click "Get your year in music".
After logging in with Spotify, you'll be able to review your own listening habits (though with everyone having a good click around on the new feature, there's a chance you might encounter some delays).
