Seth Rogen & James Franco Make 33,000 Calorie Lasagne
Seth Rogen and James Franco have responded to the controversy around their forthcoming movie The Interview in the best possible way: by making a giant Korean Barbecue Lasagne containing 33,000 calories.
The duo were guest stars on YouTube show Epic Meal Time, taking over the kitchen to create a truly epic concoction which is, by turns, amazing, ridiculous, mouth-watering and disgusting.
It follows on from the recent claim that the hack of Sony Pictures computers - and the subsequent leaking of five projects, including Brad Pitt's Fury, to the internet - could be the result of North Korea's unhappiness about the film, which they described as an "undisguised sponsoring of terrorism, as well as an act of war" in a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon earlier this year. It features Franco as the host (and Rogen the producer) of a tabloid television show enjoyed by North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un who, when he is granted an interview with the leader, is approached by the CIA to turn assassin.
Perhaps when they see Rogen and Franco treating their country's cuisine with the reverence and respect exhibited in this video, they'll change their mind. Watch the duo at work below.
The Interview is in cinemas December 25th
