Citizens of the Gulf are about to get a dose of the good stuff: ShortList today announces that it is set to launch in the United Arab Emirates.
A new title, ShortList UAE, will be distributed weekly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from March 2015. It follows the launch of Stylist in the region, which will publish its first issue on 14th October.
It will offer residents and tourists essential recommendations about what to do, see, buy, eat and drink each week.
Ali Akawi, managing director of Shortlist Media partners APP, said, “We live in a fast-paced country with endless entertainment choices – from the world’s largest malls and top restaurants to world-class music and theatrical events. ShortList readers are busy men, so the magazine will be their definitive guide to what they should be doing to make the best of their valuable leisure time.”
The mag will be available in all the cool places you'd expect to find it, including hotels, restaurants, cafés and other hand-picked hangouts. Plus, the ShortList UAE website and app will follow later in 2015 with searchable and bookable entertainment listings for each major city.
“We’re delighted to be launching ShortList’s first international edition in such fast-growing, vibrant countries as Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” said Tim Ewington, International Development Director of Shortlist Media. “ShortList has the proven ability to connect powerfully with millions of affluent urban consumers, both in print and digital forms.”
Stand by, UAE. We're coming to improve your social life.
