Skier tumbles 1000ft down a mountain and somehow survives

And you thought tumbling was a gymnastic sport…

The following gawp-inducing footage is of Skier of the Year Angel Collinson losing her footing atop a dicey slope, plummeting 1,000ft down the side of a treacherous-looking Alaskan mountain and somehow not dying.

Not only did Collinson live to tell the tale, she immediately sat up and told everyone she was going to walk back up to the mountain to get her stuff. But then maybe that was the shock talking.

But what do you think: an incredibly lucky sportswoman or a genetically enhanced cyborg designed to travel back in time to kill Sarah Connor and survive mammoth ski drops for the benefit of YouTube audiences?
