Someone's already made a Jurassic Park parody of the 'gator golf video
The best story of the month gets the parody it deserves
This is it. The story that easily wins 'Best news event of May 2016' - swiftly followed by the month's best parody.
To bring you up to speed, one Charles Helms was knocking a golf ball around the Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, Florida, with a 'buddy' (that's what Americans call mates, right?) when a giant lizard appeared to saunter out of a prehistoric nightmare.
"I was stunned and silent," Helms told ABC Action News. "I didn’t know if we were being punked or something. It was just laying down, resting, when it got up and started moving towards the big lake."
Apparently 'gators are a common sight on Florida courses, but this monster (around 4.5 metres in length) gave a new meaning to the term 'Hazard'.
Enter stage left, ShortList's London-based sibling Mr Hyde to put a suitable spin on the story...
