When it comes to TVs, there's no two ways about it: bigger is better.
And Sony have really provided the goods by announcing details of the world's biggest 4K television set ever made - measuring in at a whopping 84 inches. The 4K resolution, currently only used in cinemas and boasting four times the number of pixels as an HD TV, also ensures that quality, as well as size, is straight out of the top drawer.
CEO of Sony Kaz Hirai stated at a news conference that "The experience is so immersive, you want to touch everything in front of you." To be honest, with a screen that big, you probably don't have a choice.
The audio of audiovisual has not been neglected, with an accompanying ten speakers ensuring a full surround sound experience. Naturally, it can handle 3D as well.
If you want to get your hands on one though, you'd better make sure you're a very very good boy or girl so that Santa will get it for you - otherwise it will set you back £20,000.
