These stunning images are just some of the winners of the Young, Open and National sections of the Sony World Photography competition. A judging panel from the World Photographic Academy and Sony sifted through a staggering 139,554 images, selecting some of the finest travel photography we've ever seen.
Professional category winners and the L’Iris D’Or/Sony World Photography Awards Photographer of the Year title will be announced in London on 30 April, with a collection of shortlisted and winning photographs going on display at London's Somerset House from 1-18 May.
