The alt-right have a new favourite insult, and it's as lame as you'd expect

The alt-right, that laughable, Nazi-loving, rag-tag bunch of internet shut-ins, has a knack for creating bizarre terms of abuse to fling at their opponents.

And their latest creation is the most devastating of them all: SOY BOY.

Ahhhhhh!!!!! Not soy! Anything but soy!

The description appears to have been popularised by alt-right provocateur Mike Cernovich, who in the past has tweeted about liberal US talk show hosts wearing ‘pussy hats’, calling them ‘The Soy Boys’. In another tweet, he wrote: “James Comey drinks soy lattes.” Oooh! Burn!

According to Urban Dictionary, the term soy boy is “used to describe males who completely and utterly lack all necessary masculine qualities. This pathetic state is usually achieved by an over-indulgence of emasculating products and/or ideologies.

“The origin of the term derives from the negative effects soy consumption has been proven to have on the male physique and libido.

“The average soy boy is a feminist, nonathletic, has never been in a fight, will probably marry the first girl that has sex with him.”

This makes perfect sense. Everyone knows that true, red-blooded, right-wingers only drink full fat milk. They would never dream of consuming soy, would they?

Well actually, the most basic of Google searches reveals that the Nazis themselves were big fans of soy products. 

According to The Telegraph, a Hitler Youth manual from the 1930s promoted soya beans, which it called “Nazi beans” as an alternative to meat.

Oh no! How embarrassing for those alt-righters! It’s almost as if their morally bankrupt philosophy is based on self-serving lies and a desperate need to cling to false constructs of hetero-normative masculinity.
