"John Malkovich fighting zombies with 3D printed weapons" isn't a sentence we ever thought we'd find ourselves writing. But we're glad we are.
Following a fan-favourite tradition, Call of Duty is unleashing its latest wave of undead nasties upon Advanced Warfare in a new expansion pack: Exo Zombies.
When the Atlas Corporation attempt to clean up an outbreak of a DNA bioweapon, they unwittingly release a horde of weaponised zombies upon their ill-prepared staff. An unlikely band of four (played by Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal) must face swelling numbers of the exo-suited, lethal creatures, turning to Atlas' experimental weapons to survive. It's as bonkers as it sounds.
The new expansion includes an extensive zombie co-op campaign, insane weapons and exo suits, and four new multiplayer maps - but if we're honest, we're just keen to see Malkovich swearing at mutated monsters.
Exo Zombies arrives on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on 27 January, with other platforms to follow
