You only need to glance at Han Solo (an archetypal gunslinger) strutting through Mos Eisley Cantina (Old West saloon) to realise that Star Wars is a western. But one artist has taken that notion and portrayed the movie's posters in a beautiful spaghetti western style.
Artist Tim Anderson said: "I decided to take a brief break from the pulp series to combine another two series/genres that are near and dear to my heart: Star Wars and spaghetti westerns. These are posters re-imagining the classic Star Wars trilogy as old Italian-produced westerns of the late '60s."
